Some Clatsop County Rarities

A Clay-colored Sparrow (above) and a Harris's Sparrow
(below) have been hanging out on Wireless Road.

This Northern Mockingbird (above) was spotted a few days ago in Warrenton, where 13th Street meets the Columbia River.

Dickcissel and Northern Mockingbird - Tillamook

Dickcissel and Northern Mockingbird reported by Dawn Villaescusa on OBOL 11/10/15. Dickcissel is an OBA review list bird. The Dickcissel is Oregon lifer #387 for me. It was foraging in the grass clumps along the gravel road on Bayocean Spit. When it came out of the grass and revealed its bright yellow markings - wow!
