Elegant Tern

Two Elegant Terns were reported at Trestle Bay. I went to look for them and sorted through the many Caspian Terns and seagulls with no luck. Then I heard a bird calling in a distinctive Elegant Tern voice (which is very different from a Caspian Tern). The adult was circling around and around overhead with a fish in its mouth, apparently looking for its youngster. The young tern started calling from the ground, then the adult landed next to it with breakfast.
